"We were joking literally that day, talking about it because no one’s going to be harder on me than I am. I told James, I told everybody that it was my fault we lost the Super Bowl. He can reiterate what I said. That’s fine." -- Ben answering a question about his initial reaction to James Harrison’s comments in the July, 2011 Men's Journal Magazine interview.

Dec. 26, 2007 - Ben at the Harlem Globetrotters Performance at Mellon Arena2129 viewsThe World Famous Harlem Globetrotters kicked off the second leg of their 2008 “Magic As Ever†World Tour Wednesday night at Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh, featuring a special cameo by Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
The Pro Bowl signal caller was invited onto the floor late in the fourth quarter, during the Globetrotters’ wildly popular football routine. As an added treat for the Pittsburgh fans, the Globetrotters broke their huddle donning Steelers jerseys. After the Globetrotter players were put in motion, the ball was snapped to Globetrotter Showman “Showtime†Gaffney, who pitched to Roethlisberger, who then threw a perfect TD strike over the confounded Washington Generals defense to “Hi Rise†Brown, much to the delight of the Pittsburgh faithful.
Several other Steelers players and coaches were in attendance to witness Big Ben’s exploits, including Head Coach Mike Tomlin’s wife and children, who enjoyed the action courtside.

July, 2013 - Steelers fan heaven at Hells Point728 views"I was playing golf with my friend Bryan at Hells Point Golf course in VA Beach. We ran into Ben on the course. He could not have been any more friendly! We talked briefly about how I had grown up in Pittsburgh, and how I am the Biggest Steeler Fan ever. Ben is my favorite Steeler of all time. It was so cool of him to stop, talk and take a pic and then to have him sign my Steeler golf bag. What a great day! Thank you Ben!!" -- Your #1 fan, Jimmy Banicar
