Aimee Yaworsky1595 viewsAimee's proud brother Bret Champlin tweeted her photo to the website's Twitter page.
"I've been a Steelers fan since I was little, my sister not to much into football. But as we got older I went off to the Army, and deployed twice once to Iraq and once to Afghanistan. I lived in Italy for 5 yrs stationed with the , 173d Airborne Bde. Paratroopers.
"After I got out of the Army I resided in El Paso TX. I had no money to go home to visit so i just went to school and lived on a very tight budget. This was the year we won the Superbowl against the Cardinals. My sister saw how following the team and being a part of the Nation washed away my worries for that time...it took me away from my personal problems for that time. This year we finally got to see each other and my sister began to follow closely as I bought her a Steelers jersey, surprisingly she is on top of roster moves, who's doing what, following Steelers on Facebook and other sites. So it makes me smile and I feel warm inside because even far apart, we know were cheering, yelling at the refs, ect..and were connected that day so far away. She's now hooked, loves Big Ben and a fan for life." -- Bret Champlin

'Father Knows Best'259 viewsRoethlisberger said when Ben was younger, it was a father/son relationship, something he thought was important. Now, it’s a friendship.
“I was his dad. I disciplined him,†said Roethlisberger. “There was one time he didn’t do well in school and I made him sit out a year of little league. It’s something he still remembers, and I hear him tell his kids the same thing. When you talk to kids, you know they hear you, they just don’t always acknowledge it. A lot of things we say as parents we realize they are being heard. To have him turn around and do that with his kids, it helps me, makes me realize I did a few things right.
“I would give him advice as a kid, and he would ask me for advice. He still does, but they are different things now. There is nothing I can teach him about football. I might say something, why didn’t you do this, or why did you do that, and he will say that’s on me. We don’t talk about football, maybe only one percent of the time. He will call me and ask about gardening, or planting a tree, or raising the kids. We talk about that stuff way more than football.â€

1335 viewsBen wisely checks the inside of his helmet to make sure Mike Wallace hasn't put lizards or grasshoppers in it!
Okay, not really! But it still might be a wise idea, just in case there's payback coming:
“He’s a jokester. He plays with you too much, always joking, always trying to play a trick on someone. You got to watch him. He’s doing all types of stuff when we were at camp; he puts lizards and stuff in people’s helmets, especially rookies. He put snowballs (iceballs) in there. I don’t know if it was a lizard, it might have been a grasshopper, but it was something on the field, something from the country, because you don’t do that in the city. Touch insects on the ground? No way. But that’s my dog, man.†— Mike Wallace providing a bit of insider info on his quarterback.

October 11, 2012 - Richard Culliver1346 viewsSeven-year old Richard Culliver's story came to the site by way of his mother's friend, Cristalena Potvin. Richard was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor just one week prior the Steelers vs Titans game in Tennessee. His mom Stephanie McMillan, dad Brian and stepmom Terra Culliver took him to that game - his biggest wish come true! We posted a "Shout Out" to Richard on the website for good luck and prayers on October 10th.
In this photo, Richard is all set to go!
